Do you ever wonder what else besides Walt Disney World there is to do in Orlando, Florida. I recommend Universal Orlando. Universal Orlando Theme Park consist of 2 parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. There is also an area called City Walk.
Universal Orlando offers 1-4 day park ticket options. If you purchase your tickets online through the Universal Orlando website, you can save $20 off gate prices on all multi-day tickets. You can choice from single park admission ticket (which is one park per day) or the park to park admission ticket (which allows you access to both parks during a single day). Florida residents can save over $30 off gate prices on multi-day tickets when the purchase online.
There are 3 different Annual passes offered to everybody:
1. Power Pass- $199.99 (which has some blackout dates)
2. Preferred Pass-$279.99
3. Premier Pass-$419.99
Universal also offers what is called Universal Express Pass. For an extra charge you can skip the regular lines, which is great during the high volume times. Prices range from $19.99-$35.99 on top of the regular ticket prices. From personal experience, this is well worth the money especially during the heat summer months. However there is a way around this if you stay at one of the on-site hotels (which I will discuss in more details in the future).
Stay tune next week where we will give in more details about the two parks.
