A friend recently contacted me about booking his family’s Walt Disney World Vacation. He said “I’ve done a little research and Jenn a vacation shouldn’t be like planning a wedding!!!” I laughed and said “and now you see why I have my job.” 🙂 He was raising the white flag and asking me to help plan their vacation.
I liked this comparison because it’s true! first you need to set a budget then decide on the venue then there are other timelines. Maybe not ordering flowers and your dress or tux, but you need to book your Table Service meals and plan which park you will be in and book FastPass+ selections. If you don’t do any of these things for your wedding or Disney vacation you run the chance of having to settle for second or even third best.
No one wants to settle on their wedding day or on that possible once in a lifetime Disney vacation. So to help I have created a neat little infographic with all the different MUST complete by dates highlighted so you won’t have to settle. You can also visit my Disney Date Calculator page and get your exact dates so you won’t miss them.
Remember when you book through me or another Disney Certified Vacation Specialist you don’t have to worry about these dates, they will do the reminding and even help you with suggestions on places to eat, rides to make FastPass+ for and if you want they will do the booking for you or you can do it yourself through the My Disney Experience website.
Do you feel like my friend? Planning a Disney Vacation is like planning a wedding?
