Recently I was in Orlando for a few nights with just my fellow travel agent girlfriends and had the chance to stay at the Reunion Resort. It was so much fun to get together before we had to head to training and have a packed week of learning.
We picked up our car at the airport and entered the address to the villas in the GPS. Off we went down I-4.n Reunion® Resort is conveniently located south of Orlando, Florida, only six miles from Walt Disney World® and nearby to Universal Studios®, SeaWorld® and other attractions. Less than 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport. Even though it’s close to the highway it is totally secluded. We pulled up to the gate and told the security we would be checking in for the next two nights. He was VERY friendly gave us a map and told us how to get to the main Resort. He even shared that if we went to the roof of the Resort we would be able to see the Disney Fireworks!
Off we went for a drive through the development. We got a little lost because we missed an exit off one of the circles but it was easy to turn around and we got to enjoy viewing more of the property.
This is a HUGE development. The villa is in the Seven Eagles complex. The complex has a huge pool, hot tub and poolside dining are steps away. Enjoy the Fitness Center at the pool complex while your kids play in the game room. Or visit the Water Park for a small daily fee. Spa on site as well as several great restaurants, bars and walking/biking paths.Reunion Resort is the ultimate golf enthusiast dream resort. They are the only resort in the world that can boast three signature courses designed by golf legends Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicholas and Tom Watson.
Before our arrival Meggen, the owner, sent us with all of the instructions for the villa and her personal information should we need her at any time during our stay. I like that personal touch.
When we arrived the parking lot was pretty empty. Guess everyone was at the parks or sight seeing. We opened the door and found a gorgeous house. It has dark wood floors and an open foyer. I was a little disappointed that the main floor was just two bedrooms. When my family travels to Orlando we are usually with my parents. My mom has mobility issues so having to go up two sets of stairs to get to the living room and kitchen ruled this villa out for those trips, unfortunately.
We immediately turned on the lights and toured the first floor. I have to say I was in shock how well this villa is maintained. The pool towels in the foyer are monogrammed, the bedding and decor are all Ralph Lauren Home, Lilly Pulitzer and Pottery Barn. Each patio is decorated with coordinating colors to match the bedroom/room you stepped out of.
I took the king bedroom downstairs and have to say I loved it! I love how each room has its own little foyer and the rooms are furnished perfectly. I keep raving about the decorating but it’s wonderful and the mattress and bedding was to die for! I slept so well those two nights.
The second room downstairs has two twin beds. The girls who stayed here also said the bed was super comfortable.
Now that we viewed the first floor we went up to the main floor. At the top of the stairs was a nice little reading area then you moved into the Kitchen, and living room. This place is AMAZING! Off the kitchen is the Master Bathroom which also has a door to the main living area. In the living room is the door to the Master Bedroom.
The high ceilings and the gorgeous decorating made this villa feel very inviting. To help make it feel welcoming there was a basket on the table with fresh fruit and coffee. It is a nice touch and worked out great for us since we were staying only two nights. We ate the fruit as a snack before bed and again in the morning as a quick breakfast.
You get two free parking spaces and free wi-fi while you are a guest at 7508 Seven Eagles Way. You can use all of the resort amenities while you are a villa guest including the water park for a $15 per person fee. You have a great place to take a break from the theme parks.
You can rent this villa through this link, the owner Meggen Wilson takes great pride in her property and it really shows in each detail.
This is a GREAT property for staying near all the parks in Orlando!
