The legal stuff: I received free products in order to host the Disney Kids Preschool Playdate. The opinions expressed here are my own.
When I first heard of the Disney Kids Preschool Playdate, I was so super excited. I rushed to the computer to enter for my chance to be chosen to host. A couple weeks passed, and then one day on my doorstep appeared a big box with “Disney” on it. There it was; I had been chosen and my playdate supplies had arrived. It was a cardboard box of Disney overload!
I planned. And I baked. And I invited. And the day arrived. My littles were super excited, and, well, so was I. So,
Welcome to Our Party!
I decided to have the party after school so the kids would have something to look forward to all day (sorry for the overly excited kids teachers). So the happy hungry kids arrived ready to chow down.
The afterschool snack for the day was Mickey and Minnie shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches along with fruit kabobs.
Yeah, yeah, the sandwiches were fun, but of course, everyone wanted sweets, and we didn’t disappoint. We had Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cupcakes. And probably my favorite treat of the day was the lemonade stand that served up all kinds of sweet treats.
I have to say, the Glad sandwich bags with Lightening McQueen and friends were perfect for the kids to use to take home all their candy, because who doesn’t love Cars?? After we filled their bellies, it was time for games and crafts.
The kids went on a little Disney Safari ie: finding little animals in the grass. Big brother helped by telling the littles hot or cold. It’s funny how something so simple turned out so fun. The kids had to find an animal and then do their impression of the animal.
Next up was a little game I like to call, “Do You Wanna Build a Snowman”. Cheesy? Yes. Hilarious? Soo sooo much! We set up three teams and gave each a roll of toilet paper, two eyes, a nose, a set of teeth, and one parent volunteer. And then we laughed…… And laughed.
And after we recovered, we made Doc’s Little Book of Boo Boos. I had a bunch of dollar store notebooks of different sizes. I took some adhesive backed foam and cut it to the size of the notebooks, then the older siblings helped the littles adhere it to the notebooks. The kids chose different shapes to decorate with.
Cute!!Disney World, Lion Guard poster and temporary tattoos, candy from the lemonade stand, and other little goodies they picked up throughout the party.
I think a good time was had by all !!!!
And now again with the legal stuff: I received free products in order to host the Disney Kids Preschool Playdate. The opinions expressed here are my own.
